Libraries Pro is one plan across all five UI effect libraries: Beam, Orb, Gooey, Metal and Image. It unlocks the Studio, where you customize every library in detail and export the exact configuration, plus the Pro content: extended presets, recipes and guides, with every future update included.
The free libraries are open source and stay free. Install them from npm and use them anywhere. Pro adds the Studio (deep, per-library customization beyond the public playgrounds), the Pro presets and recipes for every library, priority updates for the life of your plan, and a commercial license covering unlimited projects, client work included.
No. The Studio runs in your browser and every library works as a plain npm package in any React project. The Pro skill is an optional accelerator for agent-driven workflows. It plugs into Cursor, Claude Code, Codex and similar tools.
Pro is an individual license for solo builders and freelancers: one seat for one person across all of their projects, including client work. Business is for any company or organization, whatever its size, including a company of one: $29/mo (or $290/yr) with 3 seats for people in the same organization, each seat beyond 3 an extra $9/mo, plus the team MCP server, priority support and more Studio AI agent credits per seat. Prefer to pay once? Lifetime is a one-time $149 purchase of Pro: the Studio, variants, the Pro skill and every future update, for as long as the service runs. Because the Studio's AI agent runs on live AI, Lifetime includes a limited amount of it: 100 credits a month, up to 3,000 in total. For models, Lifetime includes 12 months of commercial use from purchase, covering every model, new ones included. After that, apps you already shipped stay live, and a new release that ships a model needs a Pro or Business subscription. Lifetime bought before 27 October 2026 covers every model. Business is monthly or annual only.
Part of Business: it connects every developer's coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and others) to your team's Libraries.dev data. Agents read your brand kit and the presets your team saved in the Studio, look up every option and reference, and check values before writing code, and a preset saved from code opens in the Studio for a designer to fine-tune. Your agent does the work with its own model, so there's nothing extra to pay. Set it up with npx libraries-dev mcp.
Yes. The open-source libraries are free for everyone. With a paid plan you can use everything you configure in the Studio in unlimited personal and commercial projects: on Pro if you work for yourself, on Business if you work for or as a company. See the Terms & License for the full details.
New libraries, new Studio capabilities, and new Pro presets and recipes are all included while your plan is active, at no extra charge.
